  1. Shane the WOAT ???

  2. Named after dad’s brother

  3. I had my list of boy and girl names to discuss with my husband, but one night during some insomnia I had my hands on my belly and the name Shane literally popped into my brain. It was not a name on my list and we had a few weeks left until our ultrasound so we didn’t know the gender yet.

I told my husband the name and we both loved it. A few days later I looked up what Shane meant and it means “Gift from God” in Hebrew.

I thought wow, we must be having a boy and we should name him Shane!

Come to find out we were having a boy! Praise the Lord for He is good and children are a blessing!

  4. We wanted a unique name that was still easy to say and spell.
