  1. We chose Stephen because it means crown and he was our first born and a jewel in his mama’s crown! Also a miracle baby 🙂

  2. Nothing really

  3. We chose the name Stephen because our son was born on a Sunday, rainy Sunday in fact. in our culture any child born on a rainy day is always a blessing, so my son felt in that category and we’re christian Stephen is saint perfect name for us. and also his second name sounded better with Stephen though we had other choices with letter S. yeah we end up picking Stephen after a wide consultation with grandparents

  4. I wrote down a list of names mostly Bible names that I liked, and Stephen was the one that we kept coming back to. At first I didn’t think i would like it being shortened to Steve, but now it doesn’t bother me. My favorite thing about the name Stephen is that the Bible describes Stephen as “a man full of grace and power”, I think that is an amazing namesake to look up to.

  5. A Strong Name from the Bible. Unfortunately, it is often misspelled as Steven or mispronounced as Stef-en.
