  1. The steep rise in popularity coincides with the popular TV series ‘The 100’ where Wells is a character.

  2. We named our son after the author HG Wells. It always gets a reaction from anyone who hears it and they say how unique it is. In second thought, it’s a terrible name, pick something else. 🙂

  3. I chose the name wells because it means source of fresh water. The Bible speaks a lot of fresh water and it’s significance. I believe words and names have power so I believe my baby will be a well of fresh water to those he meets and those around him.

  4. I heard it on Bachelor in Paradise and thought it was really cute! Husband liked it even more. And it was unique, I didn’t know anyone else with that name.
