  1. I live in Canada so it’s not really common and I get called Alexandra a lot but I love my name makes me feel connected to my Italian heritage plus It’s not basic.?

  2. cool

  3. Protector of mankind

  4. Defender of mankind.

  5. She’s named after my aunt Sondra, as both Sondra and Alessandra come from Alexandra. I love that her name can be her own but also have a connection to family, but I’m noticing people overcomplicating the pronunciation.

  6. We have no familial or cultural connection, to the name “Alessandra”. We chose it because it was the only name we both kinda liked and it fit her perfectly, when she was born. It’s nice that the name isn’t common, for our area, but annoying that everyone thinks we’re saying Alexandra.
