Share Your Thoughts 1 Comment Ashley Nov 4 at 11:27 am I chose the name “Braylee June” for many reasons. The name “Brayley” was my great grandmother’s maiden name and although I spelled it different, it is to honor her. Also, speaking of the spelling, there’s a reason it’s spelled with “Lee” at the end instead of “Ley” and it’s because on my father’s side, the name “Lee” is in every generation going back to the civil war. “Lee” is a family name. The name “June” is also a family name on my mother’s side. My grandfather’s name was Junior and so my grandmother called him “June Bug” and she gave my mother the middle name of “June” and so that’s why I chose it for my baby’s middle name as well.
