  1. We named our daughter Heidi, and the older she is, the more I am in love with that name. It’s uncommon, so I am not afraid that there will be 30 other Heidi’s in the playground, yet it’s classic, it’s not weird as some of the names people come up with just so their child has a unique name. In the same time, it’s not a name for an old person. I don’t think there is many names that meet all those conditions. We’ll sure have a hard time coming up with a name for our second.

  2. I love that name, it’s simple but nice! And I’m happy that it’s not too popular, so my name will always sound unique!

    • It’s amazing when I come across people with the same name Heidi. Lotta Heidi’s on Facebook. There’s more Hades out there than I thought of. Hi Heidi.

      • Hi Heidis! I’m also shocked whenever I stumbled upon other Heidi’s. I’ve yet to meet one younger than me, which I find interesting. (I was born in 1987)
As a kid, I never liked the name. Most likely because I had curly blonde hair and blue eyes…so I literally looked like Shirley Temple as Heidi. haha.
