  1. All of Raelyn’s sibling names end in an “n” sound so we wanted her name to “match”. It’s a modern mixed name but is based off of the word ray and means beam of light. We live in a pretty troubled world that seems dark with a foreboding future. We want Raelyn to be a beam of light to bring hope (her middle name) of God’s love and beautiful future to all those she meets!

  2. My parents named me in 1962 as a compilation of Ray and Marilyn. Because I was 1st born to Ray he didn’t want a girl named Jr. and Ray was too masculine so he said Rae was a better spelling for a girl but my mom wanted her name added so they took Lyn off the end of her name, thus Raelyn was created. No one had that name for years! Thank you for posting my name and how many now have that name.
