And here we were, 2 weeks from having our first girl. We were in the parking lot of the clinic. We were going to name her ‘Breanna’ as that is my middle name. But it just never felt 100% right. We were looking at my clinic tag and staring at my middle name. We were pulling the name apart: Bre, Anna, Ann, Brea, Reanna… And then I saw ‘Rea.’ I said it out loud and we both were quiet.
