Share Your Thoughts 4 Comments Leah Sep 11 at 8:11 am I always wanted to choose a name for my baby that had deeper meaning as having a child for me was a very deep intentional choice. My boyfriend and I chose the name Salem because it means peace. Peace is a core value of ours. We chose her middle name to be Brittany in honor of her father (my boyfriend’s) late sister Brittany Campbell who passed away when he was a child. This name is very special to us and so is our daughter. Reply Alexis Apr 16 at 9:35 am I love the name Salem. I feel like it’s different, a little mysterious, and strong. You either love it or you don’t. I don’t like that some people just automatically think of witches when they hear her name. Reply Hannah Mar 25 at 6:48 pm My husband thought of the name Salem. It is not common without being too “out there”. Reply Viviane Oct 14 at 12:17 pm My daughter is named Salem. We call her Sally. It’s a beautiful name.
