  1. Winter Ann Jean Is NOT named after the season lol she, in fact, is named after her parents who are WINona and walTER. Worked out perfectly if you ask me. Ann is my step mom’s middle name and Jean is my husband’s mother’s middle name.

  2. 14 years ago I named my baby girl Winter. When she was 8 she lambasted me for giving her a non name and insisted we call her by her middle name KatherineKate” from then on and so we did. One day, 5 years later, “Kate” woke up as Winter
    once again, she now embodies and embraces the name. Life is funny that way! Winter isn’t the biblical name that is the norm in my family tree ( I am a Martha!) but I felt and still feel, like all names, it was divinely inspired!
