We wanted a unique and possibly nature themed middle name for our youngest and after searching high and low for something uncommon but not odd, natural and not trite, I stumbled across a Goethe poem in a library book that told a chilling tale of the “Alder King,” and that was that. Renton Alder just sounds so… solid, to me.
