  1. My mom named me Brantley long before the name was ever made popular by a country singer. (I was born in 1974). I wasn’t too fond of it as a kid and the fact that I was a girl sometimes made it harder on me, but I have really come to love the name over the years because I actually enjoy the fact that there aren’t many of us out there (especially females).
