  1. Garyt is another way of spelling Garrett, which I came up with. My birth name is Gary, (now Garyt), which I think works, I just added the t.

  2. We had 3 names we liked and couldn’t decide but once he was in our arms Garrett just felt right

  3. Garrett means brave with a spear. Our hope and prayer is he will be a brave warrior for God. Garrett is also a variation of his great Grandpa’s name Gerald, who was a huge influence and man of faith in my husband’s life.

  4. Maiden name

  5. Garrett is a form of the name Gerald (my husband’s Grandpa who had passed away a couple months before our baby was born.) It means brave, strong with a spear. We pray he becomes a warrior of the faith and a man after God, as his great grandpa was before him. Also liked the sound of the name with the middle name we had picked out, and the option for nicknames, such as Rhett.

  6. It’s a form of Gerard the patron Saint of mothers and sounds kinda cowboy. I love it!
