  1. As alaam w’ailekum!!
Is their an Arabic name for “descendant of the prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, that both men and women might be named..
. . And a name that both men and women might use that denotes “undeserved loving kindness, compassion, mercy”?
. . And a name that means “friend, real and true friend” that man and women might use”
Are translierated Arabic names using English letters written from right to left or from left.
Do people use initials when writing names, for example, farida sofia ibrahim might be written as f. s. ibrahim.
Would this be written from right to left or left to right?
Could the name be transliterated as f’r’d’ s’f” ‘br’h”m? I understand that Arabic has no vowels, so I have used an ‘ to denote a vowel. Can you suggest better way of transliterating and why?
    Shukran.
    Ma asalaam!!

  2. I choose the name Ibrahim which means Abraham in Arabic because I am a Muslim woman I love my religion and the prophets of God in the Quran. Abraham is a very important prophet in Islam,Christianity and Judaism. Most of us know the story Of Abraham and Isaac if not look it up online or read any religious book of your choice.
