  1. Lawrence is my, in ancient he was a doctor, in love it means “perfect” it is also loyal politically so because of all those, I love my name Lawrence

  2. We thought it sounded regal. Daddy strong classic names and Mommy wanted something unique. Since Lawrence is more old fashioned, but uncommon these days we thought it was perfect. He’ll go by Law.

  3. My husband is Lawrence III so we chose Lawrence IV to continue the tradition and honor the great leaders he has before him. I like the fact that his name means “crowned; crowned one.” Ironically my name means “crown”.

  4. Lawrence is very old family name and we love family names. It is strong and royal sounding. We call our son LJ for short as his middle name is Jackson. I dislike that “Larry” is a nickname for Lawrence so we made sure we had a predetermined nickname by calling him LJ.
