  1. We wanted a classic name that was a bit different and underused!

  2. We loved that it was one syllable, easy to say, and nickname proof. It feels strong and masculine, but also fresh and modern, despite the fact that it’s a pretty ancient word. There aren’t a a ton of Rexs out there right now, but I’ve heard people say it could be the new “Max.”

  3. Named after his grandpa who passed 5 days before he was born. So sentimental reasons. I like it because it’s a classic underused name. I thought it was really masculine which I wasn’t necessarily looking for but I like it more and more:) I also like it because it goes well w his younger sisters name which is Audrey. I love the way Rex & Audrey go together!
