Share Your Thoughts 7 Comments Cristina Mar 7 at 8:11 am I’ve always loved the name Sebastian, it’s not very common. When my husband and I were just dating we would go over names that we liked and disliked and what we would name our children if we had any. The name Sebastian came up and he loved it as much as I did so when we did find out we were having a boy, he already had a name. Reply Andrea V. Aug 4 at 9:46 am Hello everyone, God Bless y’all! My son’s name is Sebastian Anavah. My husband has always wanted to name his son Sebastian, so we made it happen. Also he likes it because Sebastian means Venerable. We’re Christian so we love his middle name as well. It means humility & to take up your God-given space. Reply Karina May 12 at 12:51 pm Wanted for ever family member to pronounce it, either in or English Reply Amanda Feb 1 at 8:30 am I chose it because I like how strong it was and thought about how some names are easy for kids to make fun of so I searched for a strong older uncommon name and found Sebastian and as soon as I did I knew it was the right fit for my little guy Reply Lindsey Sep 24 at 11:12 am Wanted a somewhat unusual name that not everyone else in school would have but classic at the same time. Also, love all the nickname options: Seb, Sebs, Seby, Bash… Reply MARIAH Feb 6 at 11:09 am The Kabalistic meaning behind the name Sebastian is very strong. Reply Lavinia Oct 12 at 1:17 am Me and my partener really like this name. Sounds like the name of a big personalty.
