Like Latin, it’s the root of all Indian languages. No one speaks it, but every Indian language is a derivative of it). “He has favored me” in Hebrew. As an ethnically Indian person who is a Christian, I wanted a name that had Indian roots, but also had a Biblical meaning. The concept of Grace was huge for us in our journey to marriage and parenting. We got married later in life, and had trouble conceiving for four years. So – grace and favor was very fitting when it came to a name for our little baby girl! 🙂 Reply Monika Jun 22 at 2:35 am That should be Anushka Reply Share your thoughts on the name Anushka Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
