   Hi my is Giavanna but i go by Gia. for the longest time i had an issue with my name because I never heard my anywhere so i want to change my name to something else to fit in place to a more popular name , but as i got older i started to love it because of the name meaning and all of my friends love it because they say it is so rare to hear a name like my and volleyball coach named her baby after me.

   Her dads name is Giovanni. So it came from his name. We call her Gia. Kind of hard to find personalized items but definitely glad its original. Shes one of a kind!!!

   My husband and i struggled with trying to concieve for 8 years and there was so much pain and heartache involved. We ended up having to go through fertility treatment, IVF to be exact. When we found out she was a girl we started searching strong Italian names as we are Italian and when we would find a name we liked we would look up the meaning of the name. Giavanna means “god is gracious ” so after all our struggles with infertility there couldn’t have been a more perfect name for our miracle daughter

   We chose Giavanna after 9 years of struggling with infertility… Giavanna means god is gracious and when we found out our ivf treatment was successful we rhought it was the perfect name

     My 13 yr old daughter’s name is Giavanna, but goes by “Gia“. I think as she gets older, she will go by her real name. She has a very Italian last name so it flows very beautifully. She doesn’t love her name, to be honest, & says that other kids tell her they don’t like her name..Thank goodness she is a child whose mind is beyond her years & Shrugs comments like that off. She truly does not care what other kids think which is amazing at the tender age of 13. So when I think of her name, I think of a strong personality. Someone that doesn’t always go with the crowd, but does her own thing/what makes her happy, Someone who has her “inner circle” & the rest does’nt matter, has the soul of an older & more mature woman, & who is focused on the future & does not let immature petty kids hold her back from being her true self. She walked, talked, & could read before her 1st birthday. Even as a child, she had an old soul & had the wisdom of a grandmother (very serious). I want to also add, Gia is the 1st child to befriend the “different” or new child in her class always. She chose to work with the child in her class that no one else would partner with & the other kids make fun of just bc he is “different” (awful, i know). So, when I think of the name “Giavanna”, god is gracious to put her in our lives. Her name is as unique & individual as she is. So if u choose the name Giavanna, LOOK OUT! She is going to march to the beat of her own drum & care little, if at all, what others think. Very proud mother of a Giavanna!
