  1. My husband and I chose the name Haven for our miscarried baby. We knew that even though we weren’t going to get raise that child, he or she was in the safest place in existence, Heaven, with God. Haven means safe place or refuge, so we chose it for that reason. We were relying on the Father as our refuge through our grief, so the name also suited in that way. Love meeting other little ones with that name! It’s precious.

  2. Both were just looking up names

It’s different and not around much and kinda of sounds like Heaven

    Precious

  3. I liked how simple and pretty it was. Also the meaning was special!

  4. When we had my son we had a lot of health issues. I fell into severe postpartum depression without knowing it. Once I emerged, I got better and had a heart to be there for other moms who were struggling as well. When i found out i was pregnant and told my community many of my friends (and some strangers) told me they felt like the Lord told them this baby would bring peace and ease to our family. So i weighed all options for her name. I hadn’t picked a name for her yet even up to her being born on a week early. So here we were in the hospital after having to be transferred from my home birth (dangerous hemorrhaging) and i was holding my baby girl with no name! Me and my husband kept these words from the Lord in our heart as we had to make our final decision. I always liked the name Reign, but as I looked at her and knew what the Lord said, i felt like there was more to her. So we decided on Haven Reign. A peaceful leader. we knew it fit her right away.

As for things I am a bit concerned about, My husband thought at first it sounded a little masculine. So we’ll see if that turns out true as she grows up. To me it doesn’t sound masculine. But, I guess it does sound similar to Even or Keven.

So far she has brought beautiful peace and joy to our family. We had some health issues in the beginning but the peace she has brought us has been true to the Lord’s words. We can face crazy struggles without fear or stress. So grateful for our new baby.

  5. I love the way it sounds. Her middle name is Reign.

  6. We choose Haven because it means “a safe place”. This name was a testament to who she is. I had a hard pregnancy. I was high risk, we thought she had Down syndrome, and I was in TWO car accidents. Through it all though she was perfect and always a reminder that God was in control of this pregnancy and this life. She was safe.
