  1. My mom came up with my name after watching a movie that had a character named Jessica but she was called Jessie in the movie. She wanted to name me Jessica and call me Jessie. But she never did. Lol only my Papaw calls me that. My Papaw is like my Dad so I cherish that.

  2. We chose her name a few weeks before she was born. She is named after my husband’s cousin whom he was the closest with when he was growing up. I felt like it was too ordinary and common, and he insisted that it used to be, but has become uncommon which makes it more unique again. We had some peculiar things come up in ultrasounds and upon learning that the name Jessica meant, “God beholds”, I embraced the name and agreed wholeheartedly that this was right for her. God is watching over her and she is going to be someone remarkable! Comfort for us as we awaited different results and comments from doctors, and a prophesy over her life ? it couldn’t be more perfect!

  3. I think Jessica is a really nice name knowing that is what I am called. But when I say the name over and over again in my head I am questioning myself why did my parents call me Jessica and is there a reason for that? Why didn’t they have another name in mind I asked my mum if I was going to be called anything else and she said no so I wonder why she called me that. Was it just a random name that she thought of or does it actually mean something???

  4. I really do love the name Jessica. It was the name my parents chose for me. I think that they chose the right name for me. It is a really great name for me. I will always love my name. It means the world to me.

  5. I wanted a name with a positive meaning. That is why I choose jessica.

  6. We both really liked the name, we were also keen to choose a name that had a nice diminutive. I also had a great aunt on called Jessie which is what we tend to call Jessica.

  7. My mom’s name is actually Jessica I love the name and if I have a kid Jessica is going to be her name!! ?

  8. So pitty my love?

  9. It’s a classic name but still unique and cute! We love it.

  10. Jessica was chosen after my best friend.

  11. I don’t really like Jessica. But her father picked it. I liked Elyssa Jade

  12. A friend named Jessica passed away 4 years ago at 22 she was such an influence in mine and my husbands life it was a given our second daughter would share her name
