  1. When I found out this baby’s gender, i I was going through a really difficult time in my life and honestly was seeking a name to reflect that. In he book of Ruth in the Bible, Naomi tells people to call her Mara which means “bitter” and Moira was close to that for me, while also being one of Wendy from Peter Pan’s middle names AND Irish (my heritage).
