  1. I often wondered why my parents named me Rhea. Unique name for a unique individual I guess. It’s grown on me over time. Most people pronounce it incorrectly. It’s really became popular recently.

  2. My name is actually Rhea most people assume its Rayuh idk why..

  3. It has always been a name that I loved. It’s sweet and seemed to fit her

  4. I’ve always loved that name. I first heard it in school as the mother of Zeus and again with actress Rhea Pearlmen. It’s beautiful, easy to say and spell.

    • as soon as i found out what it means it was beautiful.

  5. Most people pronounce it ray uh and its annoying. I love her name, I had a bit of a name regret for the first month but quickly got over it and I’m glad I didn’t name her anything else because its perfect for our little girl. Me and her dad knew her name was going to be Rhea before she was born. After finding out we were having a girl we already knew she was Rhea. Ree uhhh

  6. We named her after her grandmother on her father’s side. I love that it’s a very simple but beautiful name.

  7. I chose the name Rhea (pronounced Ray-uh) because it was beautiful, it reminded me of the sunshine. It also reminded me of her father, whose middle name is Ray, so she’s named after him, in a way. I love everything about the name — Rhea was the Greek “mother of gods” in mythology and I thought that was really cool. The name also means “to flow,” and she’s a water sign — Pisces — so the whole thing is just serendipitous, since she was so close to being an air sign.
