  2. i LOVE the name valerie. my grandma died in world war one and she said she will hauntt us if we dont name our child valerie so we did because we dont want to die

  3. It is feminine, sounds good for a little girl and for an adult, is a commonly known name, but not commonly heard ? Honestly, as soon as I read the name, I just “knew” it was her name!

  4. We thought of this name as our baby was born close to Valentines Day. Also, our last name is one syllable so we wanted a longer first name. I also liked the sound of Valerie Eva (her full name). She has an older brother, Westley, and these names work well together.

  5. Valerie was my late aunt/godmother’s name. My husband and I made a promise to her as she was leaving this plane to honor her memory in our firstborn child. We love this name!

  6. We felt like God gave us the name Valerie for our little girl. It means strong and valiant. My name is Vanessa, so we were also partial to a V name.
