And we wanted something that wasn’t too common right now.

  2. This name is my husband’s grandfathers name. We always knew if we had a boy that he would get this name. We also really love older names.

  3. It’s a strong, classic name. A bit old fashioned but cute for a little boy too. Explorers Lewis & Clark and famous Christian writer C.S. Lewis come to mind.

  4. We wanted a name that wasn’t unheard of but still unique. Lewis fit this criteria perfect. Lew for short, it suits him very well.

  5. When I first heard this name I stopped in my tracks. I like strong names for boys but I felt like some of my favourites that had been on my list for years were becoming more popular.
