  1. Both me and mt husband likes name Luka, that’s why we decided to name our baby Luka.

  2. We wanted a unique name without being tooo weird.
We thought about how there is a newer Disney movie called Luca and had to research to see if there was anything he could potentially get teased for but the movie isn’t even that popular either.
There was also a sad old song called ‘Luka’ and its really sad but we decided we didn’t care because it’s old and not the kind of music we would ever listen to anyway.
We liked the name Luca and debated over the spelling. Essentially we went with the K because it was less common and I like Ks better than Cs because of my own name.
We waited until we met him to name him and had 5 options in mind. After spending two days with him Luka just fit.

  3. short, strong with character and unique at the time

  4. I had a friend in kindergarten named Luka and my mom says I’ve loved the name ever since. My wife and I went through so many different names but we always circled back to Luka. We chose Wolff for his middle name because I honestly just love wolves. But I also feel like it’s such a strong sounding name. Luka Wolff is going to change the world!

  5. I wanted this name for a girl but when we found out we are having a boy we decided on it. I like it because it’s a mixture of my and my husband’s name. Since we both Easter European spelling Luka with a K made a lot of sense. Also, it has a great meaning- light barrier.

  6. I think Luka is a beautiful unique name. My husband and I love Star Wars and like that it was like Luke and Leia’s name together. Also we like the basketball player Luka Doncic so that was just a cool plus.haha
The only negative is a lot of people think we are saying “Lucas“.
