A Latin name meaning “most holy,” Ariana has been a shining star with parents in recent years. She has a sing-songy feel that extends beyond her pop star association.

Ariana has been on the upswing since the early 2000s, though she’s avoided the stigma of being too popular. She still sounds fresh despite quite a few years in the Top 100, wearing a similar sound to Adriana and Liliana but still distinct in her own way. 1. I respect all of God’s children no matter their belief or unbelief. With that being said, Y’SHUA is my BEST friend. My name is Arianna. And I was born in 1989. I have to say, the percentage of Arianna’s born that year is what I would consider almost impossible or “mind blowingly” close, to the percentage of the total of the world’s population of those that have the same personality-type as myself. Being <1%. And that percentage is 0.05534%. Coincidence? YHWH says no way. I say no such thing. Believe in Him or not, JESUS loves YOU!

  2. My husband and I have been together since high school, his name is Aaron. And ever since we first started talking about kids, even if we went astray, we always gravitated back to Ariana. Which what we liked as it represents a combination of both our names… Aaron + Katrina = Ariana.

Additionally, the other name we were highly debating against Ariana was “Riley“. But fortunately when we found out that both Ariana & Riley actually mesh well together… we arrived to first name Ariana, middle name Riley… Ari for short. We absolutely love it and love our story to getting to it.

Side Note: Aaron & Katrina can also make the name “Karen“….. but in this social climate, Karen is not a very popular name and was definitely out of the question for us lol

  3. I like my baby name Ariana

  4. She is amazing

  5. Love the name

  6. I picked Ariana because i work at a daycare and have never had a Ariana

  7. I love the name but there are a lot of ways to pronounce it.

  8. It means “Most Holy” and I love God very much.
