Easy to say for the Korean family members that have hard time with English. Welsh for Hill or Mound. I like hills and the metaphorical meaning behind that is also all very beautiful. Mostly, it’s a cute name and IDK anyone else in my network that has this name. Reply Chelsea Mar 30 at 8:23 am I was a late comer to the Game of Thrones saga, but I fell in love with the character, Brienne of Tarth and her unquestionable faithfulness, perseverance, and strength. We tweaked the name to give a little distance from the show but she was our inspiration. No doubt our baby girl will be someone who defends and protects her loved ones, keeps her oaths, and serves the people over herself. Reply Bryn Jan 19 at 7:25 pm My name is Bryn except spelled with one N and I can not tell you the amount of times people have called me Bryan by mispronouncing my name due to the spelling but I still love the name itself Reply Leigh Nov 13 at 6:38 pm When I was 14 years old I babysat two wonderful little boys, Brin and Aiden. Ever since I fell in love with the name and even more so for a girl, changing the spelling. I love that it’s short and cannot get shortened into a nickname easily. It’s soft and feminine but strong at the same time. ?? Reply Jenn Jun 16 at 8:08 am Brynn was the first name we both liked. We found more we liked and actually picked a different name. But I just kept feeling like her name was Brynn. It wasn’t until after we settled on Brynn that I realized it was kind of a combination of our names -Byron and Jenn. Reply K Apr 13 at 9:18 pm We love the sound of the name Brynn and that it is an uncommon name and that it has no nicknames. I dislike that Brinley in every possible variation has become more popular since we chose it and that some people read it as “Bryan” if they do not know her.
