  1. My kids are angel, blake, bailey, nevaeh and kyla

    • And kyla kayden rose

  2. ~*Absolutely love the name “Kyla” . I love the fact that my mom put in the time and/or effort to choose such a uniquely beautiful name for me, “Kyla Lei Lovellette.” *~ ?

  3. Kyla means “crown of laurel” symbolizing victory. We like the uniqueness but ease of spelling and pronunciation. We want to remember her as our crown, like 1 Thessalonians 2:10 says. “After all. What gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you! Yes, you are our pride and joy.”

  4. Kyla is the name we chose for several different reasons. First, it is a cute girly name, but not very common. Another reason is that the name rhymes with her older sister, Myla, which she thought would be neat. Last, and most important, is the meaning of the name. It means victorious, giving her a great reminder of who she can be in life. In addition to that, she is a rainbow baby, reminding us that life proceeds death, depicted in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. She is a fulfilled promise of victorious life.

    • Grace is the middle name we chose. Kyla Grace means victorious grace. In the Bible, grace is mentioned frequently. This middle name will also remind her of who God created her to be, a woman of grace.

  5. My name is Kyla, I love my name sm, i’m so happy i have this name<3.

  7. I’m named Kyla but all my life had to correct teachers or other people who called me Kayla, Kylie, and Kaylie. I still correct people to this day, it’s the only downside when people don’t hear a name like Kyla before they meet me.

    • I agree completely. All my life, past and present, people cannot remember my name. I am called Kayla most often and Carla. Not often is it remembered correctly. And I like the rarity of my name now that I am older, did not when I was younger. And this name is of Irish origin. Which I have recently found out that I am part Irish. Thought that that was interesting. But all in all, I love my name. Now , my middle name, that’s a different story. Lol

      • hi kyla’s ?

        • hi kyla’s lol

  8. I named my only daughter Kyla I had wanted to name her Nyla, after my best friend, but, my friend named one of her twins after herself. So we named her Kyla, name books at time said it meant beautiful and her middle name means Pearl so she is my beautiful pearl born 52 years ago. It was about 15 years before I met another little girl with the same name.

It has been unique to hear/read from all you girls/ladies also name…. KYLA!! ?

  10. My name is Kyla and my whole life iv’e heard 2 or 3 girls named Kyla its a very unique name but uniquely beautiful in its own distinct way. The meaning may say narrow spit of land in English but in Hebrew it means victorious! Such a beautiful name! I have added an H at the end of my name for multiple reasons,so that is also another good spelling for Kylah just throwing it out their. This name is beautiful in so many ways, definitely matches those who have this name and if my name was not Kylah i would call my daughter this!

  11. Saw it in the baby book of name and i like it

    • My name is kyla it is a mix between and Irish name and a Hebrew name I have never heard anybody ekse called kyla I have heard kayla and kylie but never kyla
