I always thought it would be cool to bring it back as a first name. We didn’t find out ahead of time the gender of our baby, but my grandmother passed away at the age of 99 while I was pregnant so it was extra special that we got to honor my grandma by giving her name to our baby girl. Reply Sandra Aug 7 at 6:54 am My mother and I shared the middle name Lucille. She used it as her and her mother shared first names. I never considered using for one of my children, but I am glad to see that it is coming back. Reply Carole Aug 19 at 1:11 pm I picked the name Lucille because i grew up watching “little LuLu” and i adore it. Its also not a very “common” name where i live. Reply Tommi Jun 7 at 3:52 pm Lucille is classic and elegant, but she can also go by Lucy, which is cute and fun. I like that she can go by whichever she chooses to. Also – Luciile Ball is, like, awesome. Reply Share your thoughts on the name Lucille Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
