  1. My husband’s name is Christopher and we decided to name all of our boys with “C” names to match. We did not anticipate having 7 boys! It became very hard to find more “C” names that we liked. We even resorted to reading the “C” section of the dictionary to find ideas. Finally, we decided to read all the “C” names we found on the internet and in a baby name book out loud to the family. If anyone liked a name, we would add it to our list. Chris vetoed most of the names that the rest of us liked, but he was ok with “Camden”. The name grew on him until it become THE NAME! I love calling my baby Camden because it has a sweet and peaceful sound but still very masculine.

  3. My wife and I were looking for good names for twin boys and decided on Camden and Cole. When Camden was 4 years old he asked us to start calling him “Cub.” That stuck and now he is 20 and everyone still calls him Cub!

  7. We chose to name our son Camden. It was the only name hubby and I could agree on! Lol We liked that it was different but not too unique. We also are big on nicknames and like that we could shorten his name and call him Cam as well. We practiced saying the name a million times and in all different ways…. We said the name like we were talking to a baby, cheering his name as if he was on the soccer field, aging his full name as if he was being reprimanded, and we imagined him being a grown man. We love it and is suits him perfectly!
