  1. it’s a pretty name that comes with many nicknames, like bell or bella meaning beauty. Bell like the princess, I added rose as middle name to follow the “theme” of beauty and the beast. I just really love her name

  2. I found it in a book I was reading a few years before I got pregnant. I thought it was a really pretty name and when we started trying to get pregnant we talked about names and my husband liked it too. I still love her name now that our baby is here. She is beautiful and Arabella suits her well. It’s also a name that you don’t hear very often, I really like that she won’t have the same name as other people as she grows up. Bella is a nickname that comes naturally and it’s pretty too.

  3. I chose Arabella because we both wanted a name that wasn’t very common and unique, because she is very unique

  4. Even before I knew I was expecting a baby girl, I have considered the name Arabella because it sounds pretty and feminine. When I looked up the meaning, it means prayerful or yielding to prayer. Which is a God sent.

  5. We originally wanted Isabella but it’s such a trend right now and we wanted something different. I was playing her some classical music one day with my baby bump headphones and loved the song that was on. I looked at my watch to see what was playing and the title had Arabella in it and I was in love. There’s also a song by one of my favorite groups Arctic Monkeys named Arabella so I was already a fan of the name! Then we looked up the meaning of her name and it said “answered prayer” and it was a sign from God! It was meant to be!!

  6. I named my daughter Arabella faith because I have 2 boys and I would pray to have a daughter my prayer was answered ??

  7. Hi, I think my name is unique and my grandma named me that, so I think it’s a great fit. Being a 9-year young girl and all, sometimes I doubt my beauty compared to other girls. But it totally helps to remember that my name means beautiful, and my family wouldn’t have named me Arabella if they hadn’t known. But your name doesn’t have to mean beautiful to know your beauty. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, Arabella.

  8. I loved the name Bella, but my husband likes formal names that can be shortened. I thought Annabella would be pretty, but my husband thought it was too close to Annabelle (the horror movie)…we didn’t like Isabella because it’s too popular. I was reading Harry Potter and the name Arabella came up and I was like that’s perfect!

  9. I think my name is the most unic name ever besides my twin name Zenaya

  10. i love that Arabella means beutiful in spanish but everyone is beutiful in their own ways!

  11. I chose the name Arabella because it means Answered Prayer.

  15. I thought it was a cool name.

  16. My husband and I picked this name the day after she was born. We really wanted to see her to pick a name that fit! Arabella was on our list of favorites because it is a pretty name and can be shortened to Bella, which we also love. When we saw her, we tossed around other names and Arabella really fits her. We like that it means “yealding to prayer” and also “eagle heroin” in Celtic. We choose Primrose as her middle name.

    • That is gorgeous! I’m thinking about Arabella Grace. Arabella Primrose is gorgeous as well!

      • Greetings! I just wanna share to you that my name is Arabella Grace hehe, I’m from Philippines btw. ??

  17. When looking for our daughters name I wanted something more unique and super feminine. I saw this name written out and thought it looked so beautiful. It was difficult finding something my husband also liked so when he said he liked it too we never looked back!
