  4. We named our baby Parker after my grandmother. Her maiden name was Parker and she is quite frankly the most amazing woman. She is kind hearted, wise, understanding, and I am very close with her. She’s in her 90s and her memory is starting to fail her but when I told her we named her 20th or something (lost track) great grand baby we named him after her she was thrilled!

  10. I was trying to think of something different, everyone in my family has what they call normal names; Benjamin, Mark, James, Luke, even Christopher.
    Come to think of it they are all bible names as well, funny I never caught that until now.
    So as I was looking at baby names I came across the name Parker and instantly fell in love with it. His middle name is James after his great grandfather so we call him PJ.

    I chose the name after going for a sonogram and saw his face and it just stuck. It is not very common these days and that is also what I liked about it.
