    • Same here I was named after Buffy Saint Marie. I don’t really like my name. I feel that nobody has ever taken me seriously. My Dad always told me too be proud of the name I was given.

  3. I was very happy that Buffy too like Dinah is a real name. Another character/coach in Andrew Lloyd-Webbers 1984 musical Starlight Express was Buffy. My daughter’s gonna have the name Dinah Buffy or Buffy Dinah.?

  4. I love the name of Buffy! I grew up in the 60s and always wished my name could be Buffy, as I loved the show Family Affair! Buffy is such an adorable character on that show!? I enjoy watching the reruns so very much!

    • You do not want the name. Live a life of ridicule

      • Not true. I love my name and it sets me apart. Nobody needs my last name! I’m Buffy

    • I’m named after her! I even had a Mrs Beasley doll. 🙂

  5. I absolutely love having the name Buffy. It’s unique and you don’t hear it very much at all. I was born in 77 and my dad picked it out because he grew up watching a show named “Family Affairs”. It had to kids named Buffy and Jody and their Butler Mr. French. I’m glad he chose the name since I’ve met only one other Buffy, her real name, in my entire life. It’s a great name to give your little girl, especially if you know she is going to be a blonde. Lol

    • You do not want the name.

      • It already is their name. This is a really weird thing to do under every comment that likes their name just because you don’t. Save some money and change it if you dislike it that much.

        • Agreed, Alyssa!

      • Please stop saying this. It’s rude.

    • I’m named after her! I even had a Mrs Beasley doll. 🙂
