Share Your Thoughts 5 Comments Maria Oct 5 at 9:47 am It was a name both me and my husband loved 🙂 Reply Linda Frinzi Jul 21 at 8:45 pm My grandaughters name is Emersyn Grey. I love the name Emersyn instead of Emerson. It is definitely more feminine. And we call her Emmy for short. Reply Jessica Aug 3 at 10:03 am I knew it would fit my baby and her personality. She’s amazing and I just love her and her name Reply rebecca Jun 7 at 12:18 pm We chose Emersyn because we couldn’t agree on anything else. It was on the list for middle names, but since we couldn’t settle, it became her first. Her older sisters are Kayden and Ryleigh. So the unisex name fit our famiy. The only thing I struggle with is coming up with a nickname. Em sounds like auntie Em from the wizard of oz. And I can’t stand Emmie. But something will come I’m sure. Reply Nikki May 16 at 3:22 pm I would say that the pronunciation listed isn’t necessarily correct on this one. We named our daughter with this spelling and part of the reasoning was that the ‘y’ would mean more of ‘sin’ sound instead of ‘son’. Which we liked because she was girl.
