Peyton Name Meaning

One of the 2000s hottest picks, little Peyton has more than enough fashion to go around. She fits in a number of the top trends and is sure to keep parents coming back for more with her widespread appeal.

A unisex name that has almost entirely gone towards the girls’ side, Peyton fits in with her sisters Riley and Avery. Also a surname find, she works well beside Madison and Harper as well. Peyton has a leg up on the competition when it comes to popularity, however, as she doesn’t feel overused even when combined with her alternative spelling Payton.

Peyton takes her no-frills feel to heart, shunning the cutesy trend to remain a spirited pick with a wild side. She’s not one for tea parties and crumpets, preferring to let loose on the playground with her endless energy. Little Peyton is also free of nicknames to the delight of many parents.

While Peyton does have an independent nature, that doesn’t mean she lacks polish. With her surname vibes, she maintains a prim feel and isn’t one to fall victim to feeling immature. She’s adorable on a little girl and can age well, though her recent upswing in popularity will make timestamping her easier than most names.

  1. I had the name Peyton picked out since I was a little girl. I’ve always loved it and am just so thankful my wife loved the name as well. No negotiations necessary!

  2. I chose Peyton because I waited to find out what the gender was until I gave birth so I wanted a gender neutral name. I also wanted a name that started with with the letter “P” since my husbands name is Paul. We are also both football fans so it just fit.

  3. My oldest daughter is Peyton Lee, it suites her, she is boundless and full of life.

But I am a kid, how can a kid find this website and get on it? Well I love researching things and I have gotten bullied because of my name and do not, worry my mom knows so I switched schools. But the, true meaning why I am here is so I could look a baby names because when I turn 34 years old and get enough money I, will adopt a child. • Hello, its me Peyton again the kid that wrote that whole big writing. Right now it is 7:27 pm. So it is night. I have covid-19. But it, is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It all started, with a really sore throat. Then I started having really bad chest pains. After, I could not breath. So, my mom called the docter I had seen and he said that if it starts up again to go to the er room. So guess what it did? Yep you guessed right it started again. So, my mom took me to the er room and they said they were going to test me for both strep and covid-19. So, then they said I was going, to do an, ex-ray to chek my chest. So, they said that strep came out negitave. So, she said I was, free to leave. So, we left a couple of days later I was, playing with both my baby brother and mommy and then she found out that I had covid-19. Anyway I am doing good. Just hope you are having a great day, afternoon, or night!
