  1. I love my name. I was born in 86 and was the what seemed like the only one for along time until brother bear came out and then boom it became popular lol. Great movie by the way. I’m Native and my father I guess HD it picked out since he was a youngster. Meaning little bear or good friend I live up to both. Treat me with kindness and respect ill be your greatest friend but hurt my loved ones and you’ll meet the bear. OG Koda and proud of it.

    We knew we wanted something outdoorsy/nature sounding.

    Hubby liked Bear and Kodiak, but I thought while cute Bear was to common and Kodiak felt to harsh.

    Koda was the perfect mix!

    And his middle name is Finn ??

  5. It has a special meaning in my Native American culture. I love the name Koda because not only is it special it’s also unique. I hate when people ask what his name is and then call him Dakota ?
