  1. My mom’s name was Troy. She died suddenly in May, never getting to meet her first grandson who arrived in September. His name is just another way to honor his Yaya’s legacy.

  2. Baby is named after my his dad who is also a Jr. Troy doesn’t seem like a very common name and I really like it. I also love the idea of him being named after his dad.

  3. My husband and i are trying to conceive a baby. we started thinking about names today, Troy Nathan is my brothers name. I want to some how have his name given to our child once we have him or her… The reason why i want to is because he committed suicide in 2019. He struggled for most of his adult life with sever bi polar and depression. He couldn’t fight his demons anymore and did what he thought would be better for him. i wish he would of thought about his family and known how loved he was.

  4. I love the name plus it is my uncles name who passed so it is special m

  5. Troy I just loved the name and how it sounded amazing with Liam Eugene those are his middle names it fits him perfectly couldnt have picked a better name for him

  6. My third child was my last hopes for a boy. I already had 2 daughters and desperately wanted a boy. I was extremely sick with all of my children. I had what is called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. It almost took the lives of me and my last child. Luckily I got my baby boy. It took me forever to name my son. I already had Trinity(my oldest) and Mina. We couldn’t choose a name that we both liked until the last night in the hospital. I had originally liked the name Mason Elijah Harris but his father said absolutely not. Finally after watching one of our Favorite movies “Troy”, it came to us. His father suggested Troy Achilles Harris. I was not going for that. We finally decided on Troy Isaiah Harris. I was definitely set on Troy because my last name is Roy so in a way he still got part of my name as well. The middle name Isaiah came from my father.
