We love it and call her Rosie? Reply Kate Jun 12 at 7:20 pm Sorry I got cut off!! Rose is just such a pretty name to me. My family is OK with it but I just fell in love with it since it is such a delicate traditional name. It is definitely not a tongue twister to say, it is so simple yet so flattering! I will not be having a baby anytime soon, but Rose will always be at the top of my list! Reply Erica Oct 21 at 8:32 pm I love the roses and Grateful Dead Middle name Amelia named after grandmother of father Reply Megan Sep 25 at 8:25 pm She’s a twin and it matched the name Briar. Reply Allison Weber Aug 30 at 2:24 pm We always loved the name Rose and my husband really wanted to name her Virginia Rose. I was not a huge fan on the name Virginia thinking that she may get teased at school. His grandmother was named Virginia and my Grandmothers middle name was Rose. So I finally gave in and decided to name her what my husband wanted Virginia Rose (though I did not tell him, only knew as I was telling the nurse her name) we decided to call her and all of our future children by their middle names and have our girls all be named after flowers. We decided this because we realized that a Virginia Rose is a real flower. Reply Tammie Apr 22 at 6:54 pm We had a Rosina on one side and a rosalee on the other. So we went with rose. Reply Jocelyn Apr 22 at 12:24 pm St. Rose was both beautiful and feisty- it has been a perfect name for our daughter! Reply Brynn Apr 13 at 4:15 pm I chose this name because I’ve loved it for a long time. When I was younger I wanted to name my future daughter Ida Rose. When we got pregnant, we talked about shortening the name simply Rose. I love the classic style and beauty of the name. I wanted a name that would be great for a baby girl and an adult woman. This is also a family name on my husband’s side. Reply Share your thoughts on the name Rose Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
