  1. It means “God has answered” and He answered our prayers when we got pregnant and had our sweet girl!

  2. After suffering a late miscarriage, we wanted to try again and decided to wait until delivery to find out the gender. When I was looking through baby names, I found the name Elianna and it immediately stood out to me. The name meaning was special to me, because of our previous loss and prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby. It also fit perfectly with our family, as we have a boy named Elijah and a girl named Anna, so it would be like a combination of the two names. I tucked the name away, being so sure the baby in my belly was a boy. Well, when the time came, our baby came out and surprised us all. A super quick 2 hour labor, we barely made it to the hospital in time. I was so in shock, it took me a minute to look down and see she was a girl, our sweet Elianna.

  3. We wanted unique and not so popular then Elianna made a Comeback in 2019! 3 of them born within a month of her lol! We love the meaning sound of the name and all the creative nicknames we create from it! Elle Ellie Elle Belle etc! Elianna is a sassy little diva! You’ll get a fiesty personality out of an Elianna!

  4. My husband and I always wanted to have children. With the pandemic and me being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and being told I would most likely need IVF to conceive, we had the talk of being ok if we didn’t have kids. We would enjoy our dog Sunny and travel. No joke a few weeks after having the talk I found out I was pregnant and it happened to be on my husbands birthday. We chose Elianna because in Hebrew it means god has answered. She was our answer from god. God had better plans for us ?

  5. This is my name. Every time people mistaken me with the name Elena which I hate the most but I respect my name. My nickname is usually Lia.

  6. We fell in love with this name after meeting the sweetest little girl named Eliana (I’m not sure how it was spelled). We decided to name our daughter Aliana, as we wanted an “A” name and love the nn Allie vs Ellie. Beautiful, stunning name!

  7. It means God has answered me. Also we have several family members that it honors

  8. Elianna was given this name right when she was born. My first delivery was a little traumatic. I was given pitocin, induced and ended up with a 4th degree tear. My baby was fine thank God. The second time around I wanted to make sure I had an all natural delivery. I waited out my labor at home and things got really close so close that I had my sweet girl b the ambulance. And although things did not go exactly as planned I ended up delivery with no medical interventions and my sweet girl was healthy. I had prayed for all these things and the Lord answered my prayers which is what Elianna’s name means. So when she was delivered the paramedic asked me what her name was and I said Elianna.

  9. We chose this name because it means in Hebrew “My God has answered me”, and that is how we felt about the gift of our daughter. We also were really hoping to settle on an “e” name so that she could share her initials with her daddy like I did. The only down side of this name is that everyone misspells it with just one “n” instead of 2. But, we have gotten so many compliments on her name, that it makes up for the misspelling:)
