  1. I went through hell with my children father and I was like u know what my baby will not be unhappy or troubled so she deserved one of the best names (Serenity) ?

  2. When pregnant with Serenity in 2009, I desired for my unborn child to be filled with peace. I prayed. Asked the Lord to bless my child with peace-eternally. I researched names meaning “PEACE” I found none & I prayed for a name meaning “Tranquility ” then someone suggested that I name her Serenity. I searched the definition of “Serenity” then… I knew God heard me and that her name is Serenity.

  3. I chose the name Serenity due to being a recovering drug addict. I couldn’t get sober for myself and I started praying for a purpose. i found out I was pregnant shortly after and I knew if I was having a little girl I needed to name her Serenity because she was the calm in the midst of the most chaotic time in my life-active addiction. She is here now and her name suits her so well. She is such a calm baby!

  4. I like the name serenity because it made me think of forever.. Everlasting and energy. And beatutiful life..

  5. Its because she gives me hope

  10. I had a very long and hard year to include my soulmate and I losing twins early on in a pregnancy this year. It crushed us. We were devastated and just couldn’t seem to find any peace and the healing just wasn’t happening as quick as everyone seems to to you it will. How can you find peace after losing not just one, but two of your babies. I took it especially hard and felt angry and sad and guilty. Was it something I had done wrong? It was not of course but still, the emotions and thoughts during this was torture. Anyway, he was so supportive even through his own turmoil. Within a very short time after the loss of our twins, I became to feel sick often. I suffer from seizures and other serious health conditions but this was not that. I went to a doctor and couldn’t believe it, we were pregnant AGAIN!! My immediate reaction was not right away excitement, but fear. Neal however was over the moon. This was our rainbow baby he said. Our peace we longed for. Still I was to scared to be overjoyed. As the pregnancy went on I could finally feel that sweet sweet excitement of having our tiny new miracle coming so bravely into our world. We felt early that she was a girl, we even had dreams like many new parents to be about our baby girl and talked about what we pictured her looking like etc. She was to be our new beginning. We were right! An emergency raised outside of the pregnancy with my health when I was once again taken into the hospital. I had a heart attack and there was now a threat to us both. They took me to ultrasound for precautionary reasons and she was a she! We had already been calling her our Serenity because the very definition means calm, peaceful. She was the peace in our lives to get it through. This was our new beginning, the Eve to a new beautiful chance at life with a new baby to make our lives and family more complete. Serenity Eve is what we named her because together the 2 names mean peaceful new beginning, peaceful giver of life or calm new beginning or calm giver of life. We are sad to say that on November 16 our little piece of peace came into this world small and ready for wings to fly instead of just feet to one day run. My heart surgery ended up being handled at the same time. Serenity was the peaceful miracle we waited for in a very painful time and now she is staring her new journey in a place of no pain and it’s so painful without her. However Serenity Eve still fits her because she truly brought peace and happiness back to us and our family and I got to hold her with me even if only for a little while. She is at Peace. I only wish so badly that we could have watched our baby girl get to be born full term, learn to scoot, crawl , walk, talk and grow into whomever she would be. We love you Serenity Eve Arceneaux. You’ll always be our Peaceful Angel. I wish so bad you were still here. Mommy. Daddy and your whole family love you so much even without you hete here with us physically. We will always keep you with us and you will for sure always be a huge part of Mommy’s heart as it was your passing that made the doctors ready to try and fix Mommy’s heart so I could continue to be here for Daddy and your sister and brothers. My heart beats now because of you. You left us and opened the door for the surgeons to help me. I wish so badly this didn’t happen, I wish you were here and healthy. Serenity Eve, you are the most beautiful and perfect angel. You already saved my life, you must be glowing with radiance and beauty. I know you are at peace, I just wish you could have enjoyed this life with us. You’ll always always always be loved. My hearts beats for you.
