  1. I had placenta previa with my pregnancy, it was a very nerve racking and scary journey until it resolved itself, but what truly got us through from start to finish was our Faith in Jesus Christ, and knowing that our God has a plan for our precious baby girl.

  2. In 1997 we gave birth to a little girl. My pregnancy was difficult as I needed to have 37 hormone injections during my pregnancy. My hubby named our daughter Faith because we had lost 4 babies before her & many people prayed for Faith during my pregnancy. Today 7Feb2023 Faith is in her final year of Chartered Accounting. Faith is CONFIDENT ( the meaning of her name) She’s a blessing from God.

  3. Because it’s a beautiful name

  4. In 2019, I was praying into the year 2020, listening to whatever God wanted to reveal to me. The word Faith flashed across my mind, and all the areas of my life that would be affected by it. Pondering the word a few days later, it dawned on me that it might one day be my little girl’s name, not a name I would normally choose… I was also single at the time.

Fast forward to May of 2020, I moved back home to be closer to family during such a crazy time. I went to a Bible study with my brother and saw Sterling, who is now my husband.

I never told anyone about the word Faith. When Sterling and I were engaged, he left me a random voice note saying this: “Hey, I hope this isn’t too forward and sorry if it is, but, if we ever have a girl, what do you think about the name Faith?”

And here she is. 11 days old. ?

  5. I had the name Faith planned for a girl just before I was pregnant. God had put in my heart that I would have a baby girl one day and name her Faith. I had major baby fever at the time. Then a couple of months later I found out I was pregnant a little earlier then my husband and I were planning and it was a girl. (My husband really wanted Hope which is nice too, but God had set Faith in my heart and I prayed that my husband would feel strong about it too.)
I had my little baby Faith 1 week ago. She is definitely a blessing from God.

  6. Without Faith it’s impossible to please God! Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

  8. We had another name in mind but weren’t 100%. We ended up watching Flywheel and at the end of the movie they have a baby girl and the dad said her name and we just knew that was the name and The Lord helped us pick it out!! <3 We also love how uncommon it is (to us anyway), we only know one Faith and it's the famous one lol

  9. I chose the name faith because of what I was going through my pregnancy, this child gave me the reason of being strong happy ND never giving up so she is my faith, I love the name ND not willing to change it

    • I am curious where your name originated Annita? I am nearly 40 years old and have only known one other in my entire lifetime who shared your name with that exact spelling. She was my mother.

  10. Because I’m older and finally was blessed with a babygirl by surprise and with a rough pregnancy and birth. We had Faith the entire time! So it seemed only right to name her Faith!

  11. With different things going on with her and the world my husband and I just had to have faith everything would be fine

  12. Liked it, none.

  13. We named her Faith because we wanted a baby for quite some time and we weren’t sure if we would have one. I wanted another baby since my son was about 3 years old he is now 12.

    • I want to name my doughter but am having a problem with the names I don’t know the name give

  21. Whats funny is before we found put we were having a girl, we had only boys names that we liked. We couldn’t agree on one single girl name. We wanted a name that had meaning. It was frustrating. Then one day in the car the name came to me. I told my husband and it just made sense. We chose Faith because it was the recurring theme of the year before and the months during my pregnancy…Do we have faith? Do we have faith God will take care of us? Do we have faith that He will take care of her? Do we have faith that regardless of circumstances and impossibilities, that God is who He says he is?

It really is a perfect name for us/her because it is a very real tangible reminder every day to have faith.

  22. We just had the name picked out for a couple years. I love I think due to our Faith in God.

  23. Faith is our daughters middle name
